What real-time systems require in production.

Real-time systems are not defined only by sockets or event delivery. They are defined by delivery guarantees, visible state, recovery behavior, and the ability to diagnose failures under live load.

1. Make delivery states explicit

Users should be able to see sent, delivered, failed, retried, or offline states clearly enough to trust the system.

2. Design recovery behavior

Connectivity loss, expired sessions, device switching, and replay logic should be part of the product model, not an afterthought.

3. Build observability in

Production real-time systems need traceable events, alerting, diagnostics, and enough backend structure to reason about failures fast.
